Profile & Security
Your Profile page is where you manage personal account settings and security options. Go to Profile in the sidebar to open it.
Display name and email
Section titled “Display name and email”Update your display name or email address from the General section of your profile. Email changes require verification — you’ll receive a confirmation link at your new address.
Password management
Section titled “Password management”If your account has a password (in addition to OAuth):
- Go to Profile → Security
- Click Change password
- Enter your current password, then your new one
- Click Save
Multi-factor authentication (MFA)
Section titled “Multi-factor authentication (MFA)”Add an extra layer of security to your account:
Authenticator app (TOTP)
Section titled “Authenticator app (TOTP)”- Go to Profile → Security → Set up authenticator
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Bitwarden, etc.)
- Enter the 6-digit code to confirm
- Save your recovery codes — you’ll need them if you lose access to your device
Email MFA
Section titled “Email MFA”Prefer email codes over an app? Enable Email MFA in the same Security section. A one-time code is sent to your registered email at each sign-in.
Recovery codes
Section titled “Recovery codes”To regenerate recovery codes: Profile → Security → Recovery codes → Regenerate.
Disabling MFA
Section titled “Disabling MFA”Profile → Security → Disable MFA. You’ll be prompted to confirm with your current MFA method.
Connected providers
Section titled “Connected providers”If you signed up with GitHub and later want to add email/password login (or vice versa), go to Profile → Connected accounts. Link or unlink OAuth providers here.
Deleting your account
Section titled “Deleting your account”Profile → Danger zone → Delete account → confirm. You’ll be signed out and redirected to the landing page.
