Workspace
A workspace is a container for all your spools, locations, devices, and projects. You can have multiple workspaces and invite collaborators to share one.
Creating a workspace
Section titled “Creating a workspace”- Click your workspace name in the sidebar footer (or go to Workspace Settings)
- Select New workspace
- Enter a name
- Click Create
The new workspace starts empty. Switch to it using the workspace switcher in the sidebar.
Switching workspaces
Section titled “Switching workspaces”Click the workspace name in the sidebar to open the switcher. Select any workspace you’re a member of to switch to it instantly.
Inviting members
Section titled “Inviting members”Share your workspace with teammates, housemates, or fellow makers:
- Go to Workspace Settings → Members → Invite
- MakerStack generates a unique invite link
- Copy and send the link
- The recipient opens it and joins with one click (they need a MakerStack account)
Managing members
Section titled “Managing members”In Workspace Settings → Members you can:
- See all current members and their roles
- Remove a member (they lose access immediately)
Renaming a workspace
Section titled “Renaming a workspace”Go to Workspace Settings → General → edit the name → click Save.
Deleting a workspace
Section titled “Deleting a workspace”Go to Workspace Settings → Danger zone → Delete workspace → confirm.
Workspace storage
Section titled “Workspace storage”The storage meter in Workspace Settings shows how much of your file and image quota you’ve used. Uploading project files, notes images, and product photos all count towards this.
